  14. 5 Jun 2008 at 8:06pm
WW1 started with Russia helping out the Balkans when Austria Hungary attacked them. Germany joined A.H. and England and France joined Russia. If America invades Iran like A.H. did to the Balkans do you think all the countries will take up sides like it happened before? Or does Iran not have any allies? Not saying it will and most likely will not but if it did happen this way do you think it will start like ww1?

  29. Resolved Question: I saw a yellowish-gray and black striped fly on my floor. ...
  30. 4 Jun 2008 at 5:38pm
I saw this fly on my floor, weakened or something, I think maybe my dog was teasing it, but it had dark yellow and black stripes around its body. It looked like a completely normal, annoying fly (not longer, or wider, or whatever), just a tad bit larger. One of those big nasty flies. but it had stripes? I'm not alarmed, rather curious. I researched for a few minutes online, dug up "striped horse fly", but I think the stripes on that fly are vertical, and the stripes on my fly were definitely horizontal (they were short stripes around the body, not long stripes going head to um.. butt). I live in Budapest, Hungary (central Europe), if that means anything? the stripes were hmm.. not BRIGHT yellow, but definitely noticable, like a yellow-gray color, a dull yellow. and black. dull yellow and black stripes.

  35. Voting Question: To get a girl what should my second stage be?
  36. 4 Jun 2008 at 1:57pm
This is a subtle question; if you're not willing to spend 120 seconds mulling it over, please move on to another question. I tend to pass the first hurdle with a lot of girls: they like what they see and hear* (or it meets their minimum requirements) but I quite often struggle past this stage. I try and subtley impress them with my aristocratic family heritage (lived with the Pope, grandfather's a Knight) or my house and cars, but perhaps women in their early/mid 20s aren't as swayed by that as they should be (ignorant of the fact they'll soon be 30 and fat). My funny tales (of getting so drunk in Hungary, for instance I ended up in rehab.) entertain them but I get the feeling they've had enough boozy jokers. I'd like some hints as to a better stage two approach. Thank you! *gentle British guy, a prize for these eastern European girls

  39. Resolved Question: As a Brit, do you honestly feel "European?"?
  40. 4 Jun 2008 at 10:22am
As a Welsh/Brit I cant say I do at all. I mean, we all know about the US elections, we watch American films, listen to American music etc But do you know who the Presidents of Poland, Czechoslovakia, Lithuania or Hungary are? How many French or Italian rock bands do you listen to? Do you enjoy Spanish or German films and TV? My guess is that unless you are a migrant from one of those countries, the child of a migrant or the partner of a migrant you won't have a clue about any of those things. I certainly done (well I watched "Amelie" and I know that theres a band called Die Toten Hosen who are big in Germany. Thats about it . . . ) "don't" not "done". Sorry. Typo.

  44. 3 Jun 2008 at 10:56pm
I am Black and my parents are from Antigua. My mother has lived in he UK since she was 13 years old and the same with mt father and they are both in their 60's. I was born in the UK. My partner was born in Hungary and became a naturalised British person when he was 4 years old. Lately he keeps saying that I am not British. I can understand if he says I am not English fair enough, but it is almost as if he is envious that I was born in the UK and he wasn't so he wants to undermine my nationality. I feel he is acting like a twat to be honest. If I was born in Britain what does he want me to say that I am - Pakistani?? Italian? Guatemalan? How can I answer him to shut him up once and for all!! ernie - LOL YEP I was born in the UK in Bedfordshire to be exact.. Additional I think that he just believes that any one who is Black cannot be a true British person which is bizarre, and he is the one who brings up nationality not me!! I think he is jealous as his passport says born in Hungary and mine doesn't..

  45. Resolved Question: Like being alone?
  46. 3 Jun 2008 at 9:18pm
I am sixteen years old. iv always liked being alone with peace and quiet and even nothing to do. Most of my friends always need something to do but when i have the house to myself it feels just nice, i sit and watch tv, surf the net, msn and even make myself an omelete when i get hungary. Its this nice feeling of calm (which is the best way i can describe it) to know theres no one in the house to call your name and hassle you to do something or your brother who annoys you with everything he says. my friends and my family think i m wierd for this My own family makes fun of me for being like this, Any of you like wasting the day away like this? Maybe i m getting too old way before my time.

  54. 3 Jun 2008 at 1:35pm
Why am i asking? Well for a couple of years, the hungarians are throwing with xenophobic videos on YouTube regarding Transylvania. If you know the history of Europe Transylvania, which is now part of Romania, was occupied by the Hungarians. In 1918,after the First World War,Romania got it back. Since then hungarians are trying to get it back ... by any means So is there someone who can confirm or infirm the fact that Transylvania is a romanian land? Maybe what i learned at school was just propaganda, who knows? Any way,it is very disturbing to see retard hungarians on youtube that flaming us,romanians. They say "Transylvania is temporarly a romanian territory". Can Hungary get Transylvania back?If yes, how? And how and who can stop this xenophobic war from youtube? It is very disturbing when they are calling us "gypsies"! Look,an simple example ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TwuN3sugmQA&feature=related Thanks, and i wait for your opinions!

  63. Resolved Question: Exams and a partner who wants me to feel that he is doing ...
  64. 3 Jun 2008 at 6:02am
My uni exams start next week. I experience immense anxiety around about exam time to the extent that I can't even think straight. My partner who is a lecturer said that he'd take me to the exams & support me, but, after saying he would do so, then spent a few days saying how he needed to go back to Hungary to check that his flat over there was ok & also to undertake some research. But, he won't go & instead seems to want to tell me how he as "cancelled" his trip & how he "cancelled it as he wants to support me". I really do not want him to come with me now. I feel as if he wants me to be beholding unto him & who knows if he'll throw it back in my face in the future. I do dislike people feeling that they are doing me a favour in some way IF it gives them the opportunity to use it against me some day down the line. Last night he said again "I cancelled my trip so i can come with you" to which I retorted "how can you cancel something that you never even booked in the 1st place" I keep texting him and phoning him to say JUST GO to Hungary but he won't. What can I do to persuade him to go. I have said that he should as I won't be going with him to the exams in any event, but he still won't book the flight. I feel as if he is purposely trying to be a martyr. ***Also we have only been dating 6 months. Just this just show that he is really a self-centred person as I seem to have supported him far more than he ever has done with me***.

  85. Resolved Question: Herpes of Scabies?
  86. 2 Jun 2008 at 8:22am
I am traveling abroad in Europe (Czech, Poland, Hungary) and have been sleeping in various hotels/sleeping-style train cars. About a week ago, one day, I experienced a few moments of severe itching on the shaft of my penis, left side. A few days later (about 2 days ago) I noticed small red bug-bite like bumps of various sizes in that same area of my penis. They kept progressing and getting larger. They have now kind of formed together into large grouping of red bumps/plateaus/inflamed red area. No blisters or fluid. They don't really itch during the day at all. They itch severely at night/early morning and when I take a warm/hot shower. When it itches, it also itches in other areas of my penis where there are no bumps. I have also noticed some small red bites on my arms. Also, the bums/area gets more inflamed after itching or showering and then calms down throughout the day...
