    Remember just because herbs are natural DOES not mean they are SAFE. Echinacea(Echinacea spp) ginseng astragalus licorice motherwOrt hawthorn turmeric siberian ginseng valerian ginko hop peppermint chamomile milk thistle artichoke dandelion ginger afalfa devils claw yarrow saw palmetto wild yam sarsaparilla dong quai black haw cramp bark rasberry black cohosh chaste tree pygeum pumpkin seeds frankincense burdock According to my sourse Most of those plants listed are on the toxic plant list to cats!

    What are your two favorites herbs that you grow in your garden? Two favorites you use in spellcraft? Two favorites you use in cooking (which might be the same as the above question)? I love to grow wood betony and yarrow. I use lemon balm and betony in spells. I cook with basil and garlic.

    They might claim they do not contain any "carcinogenic" sulphates, parabens, etc BUT how sure are we that the natural herbs/extracts themselves are not just as bad??? For example, i am looking at a hand cream which contains Yarrow. Yarrow, after prolonged use can increase the damage the sun does to your skin. It also contains a toxic element (although in tiny quanitities). Are they really safer than chemical cosmetics?? And are chemical cosmetics REALLY that bad for us?? What would you recommend?? Thanks for your help and comments!!!

    My herbs have gone crazy, fennel at 5 feet tall, yarrow falling over, I guess I waited to long to trim them. I could use some help with harvesting, storing and propagation.
